Wilwood Front Dynalite Brake Kit for Chevrolet Bel Air/Biscayne/Impala/Caprice (1965–1968), Black Calipers, Plain 11-Inch Rotors

This Wilwood 11-inch front conversion replaces the specified full-size Chevrolet drum brakes with black four-piston Dynalite calipers and vented plain-face rotors. The package includes replacement hubs, bearings, brackets and BP-10 pads. The original drum spindles are retained when they match the application and installation drawing. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines. • Wheel mounting change from OE: +0.33 inches per side; check wheel offset and fender clearance.
• Replacement hubs: Hub - Vented Rotor Offset; Aluminum; Bare. Bearings and hub hardware are specified in the installation instructions.
• Wheel bolt circles: 5 x 4.50; 5 x 4.75 inches.
• Included: paired calipers, pads, rotors, brackets and assembly hardware, replacement hubs and bearings.
• Hydraulic flex lines are separate. Master cylinder, booster and spindles are not included; retain or select suitable matching components.
• Conditional minimum wheel diameter: 14 inches. Verify the complete clearance drawing for barrel and spoke offset before purchase.
• Wheel seating: the specified support spacer is required when the wheel contact face overhangs the hub. The support spacer is included with this kit. For stamped steel wheels without overhang, use the specified hub shield, obtained separately.

Fitment & Compatibility

Check the individual Bel Air, Biscayne, Impala and Caprice years; Caprice coverage begins later than the other models. DS830 shows the correct drum-spindle mounting points, caliper shimming and hub assembly. Wheel mounting moves outward by the listed offset on each side, so recheck fender and tire clearance. A supplied spacer must be used where the wheel contact surface overhangs the hub face, as described in the instructions. Compatible flex hoses are separate, and 14-inch wheel fit remains conditional on the template.
