Wilwood Front GT 14-Inch Rotor and Red Caliper Package for Mazda RX-7 1993–1995

This Wilwood Mazda front package combines red Superlite 6R calipers with GT slotted 14-inch rotors. The 72-vane iron rings bolt to hats on the serviceable original hubs, while six pistons and BP-10 pads provide the matched caliper arrangement. It is the larger-diameter GT option within this RX-7 conversion family. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines. Its product range serves motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications, with individual components selected to match the requirements of the complete brake system.

• Hydraulic flex lines are separate. Master cylinder, booster and spindles are not included; retain or select suitable matching components.
• Conditional minimum wheel diameter: 18 inches. Verify the complete clearance drawing for barrel and spoke offset before purchase.

Fitment & Compatibility

Use the larger-wheel drawing in DS818 to check the installed wheel's barrel and spoke depth. A nominal 18-inch diameter alone is insufficient evidence of fit. The individual 1993–1995 application entries and the actual front hub/spindle hardware must agree. Inspect bearing play and register condition, center each caliper over its ring and arrange separate hydraulic flex lines. The completed package requires correct bleeding, leak checks and bedding; the kit does not supply a replacement master cylinder or booster.
