Wilwood Front 14-Inch GT Slotted Brake Kit, Mazda RX-7 (1993–1995), Black Six-Piston Superlite Calipers

The 14-inch Wilwood Superlite front conversion gives the listed Mazda RX-7 applications a larger rotor package than the 12.88-inch version. Black six-piston calipers clamp GT slotted Spec-37 iron rings with 72 curved vanes. Separate hats, BP-10 pads and mounting components are selected for the matching front hubs and spindles. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines. Its product range serves motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications, with individual components selected to match the requirements of the complete brake system.

Fitment & Compatibility

DS818 is the installation reference for this 14-inch configuration. Check the 1993–1995 model coverage and verify the wheel against the full 18-inch conditional profile. Do not apply the smaller-rotor clearance drawing to this package. Original hub registers, studs and bearing condition remain relevant because replacement hubs are not included. Each caliper is handed; establish its bleeder orientation and radial alignment carefully. Add suitable flexible hydraulic hoses and verify their route through steering and suspension movement.
