Wilwood Front Red Six-Piston Brake Package for Mazda RX-7 (1993–1995), Drilled/Slotted 12.88-Inch Rotors

Red powder-coated Superlite 6R calipers and drilled/slotted Spec-37 rotors make up this Wilwood RX-7 front conversion. The 12.88-inch friction rings mount on separate hats, so the original front hub remains in service when suitable. BP-10 pads, brackets, shims and assembly fasteners are supplied for the six-piston system. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines. Its product range serves motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications, with individual components selected to match the requirements of the complete brake system.

Fitment & Compatibility

Confirm the RX-7's year and original front spindle/hub configuration, then compare the chosen wheel to the DS817 profile. The hat must seat squarely on a clean register to control runout. Maintain the specified left/right installation and perform the caliper alignment procedure rather than compensating with wheel spacers. Select compatible flex lines in addition to the kit and route them clear at full steering lock and suspension travel. Check the retained bearings and studs as part of the conversion.
