Wilwood Rear Plain 11-Inch Rotor Conversion for AMC Javelin/Javelin AMX 1971–1974, Red Four-Piston Calipers and Parking Brake

This red Wilwood rear package converts the specified AMC axle to vented disc brakes while adding parking shoes within the rotor hats. Plain-face 11-inch rotors run with four-piston Dynapro calipers and included BP-10 pads. The low-profile arrangement is designed for the matching AMC axle end and measured 2.60-inch offset. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines. Fitment & Compatibility

Check the wheel studs and flange diameter before fitting the hats. DS823 explains the left-side shims that affect the offset reading, the separate original-style seal plate and possible shock clearance work. Javelin and Javelin AMX coverage remains conditional on the correct rear housing, even though front-spindle options appear in the vehicle table. Cable hardware and hydraulic lines are not in the package. Fit them to the completed axle, adjust the parking brake and verify wheel/caliper clearance before road testing.
