Wilwood Rear Parking Brake Kit for AMC Javelin/Javelin AMX (1971–1974), Black Dynapro Calipers, 11-Inch Plain Rotors, 2.60-Inch Offset

This Wilwood AMC rear conversion combines low-profile four-piston Dynapro service calipers with internal parking-brake shoes. Black calipers, plain-face 11-inch rotors and BP-10 pads are supplied for the specified 2.60-inch axle-flange offset. It fits the matching rear housing and axle geometry, rather than being determined by the car's front brake option. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines. Its product range serves motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications, with individual components selected to match the requirements of the complete brake system.

Fitment & Compatibility

Measure the AMC rear axle before ordering and compare the flange to DS823 and the axle-offset worksheet. The left-hand original shim stack must remain in place when measuring. Check axle-flange diameter, stud size and shock clearance; some installations need machining or shock changes. The front-spindle descriptions in the model rows do not replace these rear measurements. Hydraulic lines and parking cables or adapters are separate; a new original-style axle seal plate is also required by the instructions.
