Wilwood Front Drilled/Slotted Rotor and Black Dynalite Kit, AMC Javelin/Javelin AMX/AMX/Ambassador/Matador/Rebel/Rambler/Hornet/Gremlin, 1969–1976

SRP drilled/slotted 11-inch rotors identify this Wilwood front brake and hub kit for the specified AMC Kelsey-Hayes disc spindles. Its black Dynalite calipers use four stainless pistons, supplied pads and bolt-on mounting brackets. Replacement hubs and their bearing arrangement are part of the conversion, rather than reuse of the original rotor/hub unit. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. • Wheel seating: the specified support spacer is required when the wheel contact face overhangs the hub. The support spacer is included with this kit. For stamped steel wheels without overhang, use the specified hub shield, obtained separately.

Fitment & Compatibility

Identify the original caliper and bearing seats before ordering. The Kelsey-Hayes configuration takes the 1.25-inch inner and 0.75-inch outer bearings stated in DS822; Bendix spindle dimensions differ and are excluded. Assemble the bracket spacers to the specified thickness and confirm the wheel pattern. Vehicle names alone cannot identify the spindle after previous brake work. Choose compatible flex hoses separately and use the clearance profile to check a proposed 14-inch or larger wheel.
