Wilwood Rear Superlite 4R Brake Kit for Chevrolet Corvette C4 (1985–1987), Black Calipers and Drilled/Slotted 12.88-Inch Rotors

This Wilwood rear conversion gives the 1985–1987 Chevrolet Corvette C4 a matched pair of four-piston Forged Narrow Superlite 4R calipers and 12.88-inch SRP drilled/slotted rotors. Black powder-coated calipers work with separate hats, BP-10 pads and the original rear-hub arrangement. It is an axle package, rather than a single replacement caliper or rotor. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines. Its product range serves motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications, with individual components selected to match the requirements of the complete brake system.

Fitment & Compatibility

Use this package with the C4 rear assembly specified in DS816. The original parking-brake shoes operate within the replacement hats; inspect and adjust them rather than assuming new shoes are supplied. Hydraulic hoses are separate, and the listed rear line kit must match the car. The manufacturer drawing, not the nominal wheel diameter alone, determines spoke and barrel clearance. This installation covers the 1985–1987 configuration; do not extend it to 1984 from the C4 generation name.
