Wilwood Front Dynapro Pro-Street Brake Kit for Chevrolet Camaro/Pontiac Firebird (1993–2002), 11.75-Inch Plain

This Wilwood F-body front package uses anodized Narrow Dynapro calipers with plain 11.75-inch vented iron rotors. The 0.81-inch friction-ring width differs from the thin steel drag version. Separate hats mount on the existing hub, while the brackets require the specified later Camaro/Firebird spindle. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications.

Fitment & Compatibility

The direct mounting reference in DS653 is the 1998–2002 Camaro/Firebird knuckle originally carrying twin-piston calipers. The earlier Camaro entries require that later knuckle conversion; the original 1993–1997 single-piston mount is not accepted directly. This vented iron rotor package uses the retained hub and differs from the thin steel drag rotor option. Inspect hub registration and mounting condition, select hydraulic hoses for the car and use the wheel template before aligning the calipers. Then evaluate pedal travel and front/rear balance during the prescribed brake test.
