Wilwood Front Red Dynapro SRP Hub Conversion, Mustang II/Pinto/Bobcat (1974–1980), 12.19-Inch Six-Piston

Red six-piston Dynapro calipers work over drilled/slotted vented rotors in this Wilwood front conversion. The 12.19-inch friction rings and replacement five-lug hubs suit the original disc-spindle layout. A matching Ford or Mercury model name does not qualify a different aftermarket or drum spindle. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications.

Fitment & Compatibility

The caliper has six pistons, while the companion Dynalite kit has four; a common 12.19-inch rotor size does not make their caliper envelope identical. DS644 defines the five-lug hub and original disc-spindle arrangement for the Mustang II/Pinto/Bobcat rows. Confirm that spindle and the wheel register before assembly. Four-lug wheel retention is not supported by the selected hub package. With the correct hardware identified, compare the actual wheel profile with the drawing and plan hydraulic-hose travel at both steering locks.
