Wilwood Front Plain-Rotor Brake and Hub Conversion for Chevrolet Bel Air/Nomad/One-Fifty Series/Two-Ten Series/Sedan Delivery/Del Ray (1955–1957 Drum Spindles), Black Dynapro 6

Wilwood's black Dynapro 6 hub conversion uses plain 12.19-inch vented rotors on the specified 1955–1957 Chevrolet drum spindle. Replacement aluminum hubs and separate hats carry the friction rings. The six-piston calipers are a hydraulic disc conversion for the original spindle arrangement, not a claim for later steering knuckles. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications.

Fitment & Compatibility

Confirm the individual Chevrolet model and year row and inspect the original drum spindle against DS639. The replacement hubs change the wheel mounting position +0.23 inches from the stated reference. Check the bolt circle, register and tire/fender clearance before choosing wheels. Hydraulic hoses are separate, and the complete wheel template must be checked around the caliper and behind the spokes.
