Wilwood Front Road-Race Superlite 4R Brake Kit for Chevrolet Camaro/Pontiac Firebird (1993–2002), 12.19-Inch GT

Wilwood's four-piston Superlite road-race kit uses 12.19 × 1.25-inch GT rotors, high-temperature BP-35 pads and included hydraulic flex lines. The calipers have the Thermlock arrangement specified for this racing package. This is not the ordinary street pad combination: prolonged low-temperature use can accelerate pad and rotor wear. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications.

Fitment & Compatibility

The mounting package fits 1998–2002 Camaro/Firebird spindles originally used with twin-piston calipers. Earlier Camaro rows require conversion to that later spindle; 1993–1997 single-piston-caliper spindles do not accept the kit directly. Follow DS635, check the included hose routing and compare the actual wheel template. Select the race pad duty deliberately before using the vehicle outside its intended operating conditions.
