Wilwood Front Black 14-Inch GT Superlite Hub Conversion for Later GM Disc Spindles (1979–1990)

The larger 14-inch GT rotors in this Wilwood later-GM package work with black six-piston Superlite calipers. Separate hats and replacement hubs locate the vented friction rings on the specified factory disc spindle. The kit changes wheel mounting position by +0.17 inches at each side of the stated OE reference. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications.

Fitment & Compatibility

Buick Estate Wagon and LeSabre rows have their own 1979–1985 coverage, while the single-year Skylark entry must not inherit that whole interval. This 14-inch package uses the later GM 11-inch-rotor spindle with the preparation detailed in DS613. The specified hub moves the wheel mounting face +0.17 inches. Inspect bearing fit and wheel registration, then compare the actual wheel profile with the large-brake template; the nominal rim size is only a preliminary screen. Hydraulic plumbing remains a chassis-specific selection.
