Wilwood Front Red Superlite SRP Hub Conversion, Later GM 11-Inch Disc Spindles (1979–1990), 12.88-Inch

This red Wilwood front package combines six-piston Superlite calipers with 12.88-inch drilled/slotted rotors. The separate hats and replacement hubs suit the later GM disc spindle, with a +0.17-inch wheel mounting change. Its spindle configuration differs from the earlier GM kit despite the common brake diameter. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications.

Fitment & Compatibility

Read the later-GM application individually: the listed Bonneville, Catalina and Firebird production windows are different from the Parisienne window. The correct OE 11-inch-rotor spindle is what links the mounting hardware. Use DS612 to prepare that spindle and align the radial brackets. The hub's +0.17-inch wheel-position change affects fender clearance, while caliper clearance depends on the drawing's full profile. Choose hydraulic end fittings and hose routing for the specific car before the completed system is tested.
