Wilwood Front Red GT Slotted 14-Inch Hub Brake Kit, GM Passenger-Car Disc Spindles (1970–1978)

The red-caliper GT version of this Wilwood GM front kit uses 14-inch slotted rotors with 72 curved vanes. Separate hats and replacement hubs form the mounting assembly for the specified factory disc spindle. The larger brake package retains the stated OE wheel position but still changes the space needed inside the wheel. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications.

Fitment & Compatibility

The 14-inch friction ring uses 72 curved vanes, so this kit needs the larger clearance drawing in DS611 rather than the outline for the smaller GM package. Its retained knuckle is the factory disc spindle originally associated with an 11-inch rotor. Match the individual GM vehicle row, complete the documented spindle preparation and set caliper alignment with the supplied shims. A zero stated wheel-offset change still leaves the new caliper body to clear the spokes. Provide chassis-appropriate hydraulic connections before bleeding.
