Wilwood Rear Red GT Slotted Brake Kit, Corvette C2/C3 (1965–1982), 12.88-Inch, Original Parking Shoes

Red Superlite four-piston calipers and GT slotted 12.88-inch rotors distinguish this Wilwood Corvette rear package. The selected kit specifies BP-20 pads, and its separate hats are designed to work with the original internal drum parking brake. Existing hubs and parking components remain part of the completed installation. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications.

Fitment & Compatibility

Inspect the C2/C3 Corvette parking shoes, hub bearings and wheel studs rather than assuming new brake components remedy wear in those retained parts. Follow DS624 for rotor alignment and bracket shims, and check the sway-bar end-link fastener clearance. Choose hydraulic lines separately. Verify spoke depth and barrel shape against the clearance template before mounting the wheels.
