Wilwood Rear Red Superlite SRP Conversion, Chevrolet Corvette C2/C3 (1965–1982), 12.88-Inch Rotors

This red Wilwood rear kit uses drilled/slotted 12.88-inch rotors with four-piston Superlite calipers. Rotor hats retain the Corvette's original internal parking-brake arrangement, while BP-10 pads serve the hydraulic calipers. The conversion keeps the existing rear hub and requires that its mounting and bearing condition be suitable. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications.

Fitment & Compatibility

Match the 1965–1982 C2/C3 application and inspect the original parking mechanism before assembling the new hats. Axle studs or patterns changed from factory specification need to be checked against the hat holes. DS624 describes bracket shimming and possible sway-bar end-link bolt reversal. Hydraulic hoses are separate, and the wheel drawing must clear the full caliper projection.
