Wilwood Red Front Rotor/Hub Conversion, 12.88-Inch Drilled/Slotted Rotors, Mustang/Ranchero/Torino/Fairlane/Falcon/Montego/Comet/Cyclone/Cougar (1970–1973 Later Ford/Mercury Disc Spindles)

The red-caliper version of this Wilwood later-spindle package uses drilled/slotted 12.88-inch rotors and aluminum replacement hubs. Differential-bore Superlite 6R calipers mount radially to their brackets. The same rotor diameter appears in other Ford kits, but the hub and spindle interfaces are not interchangeable. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications.

Fitment & Compatibility

Read the exact application row and the Mustang GT350/GT500 exclusion before ordering. The listed Ford and Mercury models use different production spans within 1970–1973. Verify the installed spindle against DS591, then account for the +0.25-inch wheel-position change. Hydraulic flex lines are a separate selection, and the wheel template must be checked behind the spokes as well as around the rim.
