Black Superlite 6R calipers are matched with drilled/slotted 12.88-inch rotors in this Wilwood front conversion. The replacement hubs and separate hats are intended for the later Ford/Mercury disc-spindle family. This selection does not cover an early spindle simply because the model was built within the combined year range. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications.

Fitment & Compatibility

Identify the exact model/year row and inspect any spindle changes already made to the car. At the Mustang transition, the GT350/GT500 exclusion is relevant to the mounting package. Use DS591 to compare the bearings and spindle arrangement, then include the +0.25-inch wheel shift in the fender check. Select hoses and verify full wheel-profile clearance before assembly.
