Wilwood Red Six-Piston Front SRP Kit for Mustang/Torino/Fairlane/Falcon/Ranchero and Cougar/Comet/Cyclone/Montego, Ford/Mercury Disc Spindles (1968–1970), 12.88-Inch Rotors

This Wilwood front conversion uses red six-piston Superlite calipers with 12.88-inch drilled/slotted rotors. Separate hats and replacement hubs adapt the specified early Ford/Mercury disc-spindle assembly. The physical spindle and bearing dimensions determine the correct package, not the presence of disc brakes alone. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications.

Fitment & Compatibility

Check the applicable model row and the Mustang GT350/GT500 exception around 1970 before selecting brackets or hubs. Compare DS590 with the actual spindle and verify the +0.25-inch offset change when planning wheel position. Flex lines must be matched separately to the vehicle. Use the wheel template for spoke depth and barrel clearance before the original brakes are removed.
