Product details

Drilled/slotted 12.88-inch rotors distinguish this black Superlite 6R front package for the early Ford/Mercury disc-spindle layout. Replacement aluminum hubs carry separate rotor hats, and differential-bore six-piston calipers mount radially. The mounting pattern is specific to the listed spindle family, including the special Mustang production split. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications.

Fitment & Compatibility

Match the individual model, year and disc-spindle note in the table. The 1968–1969 arrangement and the later 1970–1973 disc spindle use different kits, so a Mustang year alone is insufficient around the transition. Account for the +0.25-inch wheel-position change and verify the actual wheel drawing. Select hydraulic flex lines separately and inspect pedal pushrod geometry if the master cylinder is changed.

Match the individual model, year, submodel and brake configuration in the fitment table below.
