Wilwood Rear Mustang CPB Conversion (1994–2004), Black Calipers and 12.88-Inch Drilled/Slotted Rotors

Drilled/slotted Spec-37 rotors distinguish this black-caliper Wilwood rear conversion for the Mustang solid axle. Each CPB caliper combines hydraulic service braking with a mechanical parking lever, avoiding a separate drum assembly. The selected rotor is 12.88 inches in diameter and 1.00 inch wide. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications.

Fitment & Compatibility

Cobra IRS rear suspensions are excluded. Measure the solid-axle mounting arrangement and confirm the 3.25-inch offset against the installation drawing. The 1995–1998 application requires custom rear flex lines, unavailable through Wilwood, while the parking cable installation must also be matched to the car. Verify wheel depth as well as diameter before fitting the brake assembly.
