Wilwood Rear Red 14-Inch Drilled/Slotted Brake and Parking Kit, Lincoln Town Car (1990), New Big Ford

The red-caliper version of this Wilwood rear package combines a 14-inch drilled/slotted friction ring with a separate parking drum inside each hat. It is a service-brake and parking-brake conversion for a correctly configured new-style Big Ford axle, rather than a replacement set for any rear housing carrying the Town Car name. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings, and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance, and specialized applications.

Fitment & Compatibility

Housing-end geometry and 2.50-inch offset must agree with the bracket and hat dimensions in the instructions. Confirm the axle bearing and wheel-stud arrangement before assembly. The hydraulic system must be balanced with the front brakes and retain adequate master-cylinder capacity. Check the wheel drawing for both barrel radius and spoke clearance, and arrange the missing hydraulic hoses and parking cables for the specific chassis.
