Product details

This Powerlite caliper is the anodized 1.25-inch-bore configuration for rotors 0.35–0.50 inch thick. Four stainless pistons work in a compact forged housing with radial mounting. The nominal 0.50-inch opening identifies rotor width, while the rotor diameter and pad sweep are separate selection dimensions. Founded in 1977 by Bill Wood, Wilwood Engineering is based in Camarillo, California. Its disc brake systems and components serve motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines are among its products, selected according to the complete brake system’s requirements.

Fitment & Compatibility

Check the bracket’s 5.08-inch centers, rotor centerline and the wheel barrel before assembly. A compatible diameter must also place the friction material fully on the rotor. Confirm the intended hydraulic piston area, pad type and inlet fitting against the brake package rather than relying on the general Powerlite family name.
