Product details

The 0.38-inch-width Dynalite Single Floater is a compact one-piston caliper with a sliding outboard section. A 1.75-inch piston supplies hydraulic application, and the floating arrangement carries force to the opposite pad. This body uses the same general compact format as narrower DLS floaters but requires its own rotor-width match. Founded in 1977 by Bill Wood, Wilwood Engineering is based in Camarillo, California. Its disc brake systems and components serve motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines are among its products, selected according to the complete brake system’s requirements.

Fitment & Compatibility

Measure the rotor and verify the 0.25–0.38-inch thickness envelope rather than assuming interchangeability with a quarter-inch version. The receiving mount needs the correct slide geometry and 3.28-inch spacing, with room for the caliper’s travel. Check pad sweep, hydraulic fittings and wheel clearance throughout the intended operating movement.
