Product details

Four 1.75-inch stainless pistons equip this anodized Wilwood Forged Dynalite Internal caliper. Its 4.80-square-inch effective area distinguishes the hydraulic configuration, while the spacerless housing and 1.25-inch nominal rotor channel establish its physical form. From its base in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components. Bill Wood founded the company in 1977; its motorsport, street-performance and specialized range includes calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines.

Technical Details

  • Manufacturer part number: 120-17683. Type: Forged Dynalite Internal caliper.
  • Rotor dimensions: outside diameter 10.00–13.06 inches; nominal width 1.25 inch, with width limits of 1.20–1.28 inch.
  • Bore sequence 1.75/1.75 inches across 4 pistons. Piston construction: stainless steel; specified effective area 4.80 square inches.
  • Construction and surface: forged aluminum, finished in Type III Anodize.
  • Attachment geometry: lug mount with 5.25-inch centers; universal. 0.39-inch holes; 2.03-inch mounting height.
  • Pad fit uses shape 7112. Match the pad to the rotor and intended operating conditions.
  • Hydraulic inlet thread: 1/8-27 NPT. Match the fitting thread and sealing arrangement to the brake hose.
  • Piston dust boots: no.
  • Caliper component weight: approximately 3.6 lb.
  • Component: one individual hydraulic brake caliper. Select the mating rotor, pads, mounting hardware and line connection to suit the complete brake assembly.

Fitment & Compatibility

Confirm master-cylinder volume and system balance before changing to this bore size. Match the 7112 pad shape, rotor offset and 5.25-inch bracket to a rotor within the specified 10.00–13.06-inch diameter envelope.
