This black front left Wilwood Aero6-DM is a replacement caliper for the documented direct-mount Bronco/Ranger brake arrangement. The forged six-piston housing uses a nominal 1.25-inch rotor-width channel and must work with the package's rotor offset and line fittings. Bill Wood established Wilwood Engineering in 1977. Based in Camarillo, California, the company designs and manufactures disc brake systems for motorsport, street-performance and specialized use, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines.

- Manufacturer part number: 120-17295-BK. Type: AeroDM Lug Mount caliper.
- Hydraulic inlet thread: 1/8-27 NPT. Match the fitting thread and sealing arrangement to the brake hose.
- 7.48-inch-center lug attachment, left hand orientation. 0.48-inch holes; 3.51-inch mounting height.
- 6-piston hydraulic layout with 1.75/1.62/1.62-inch bores and 6.52 sq in of effective area; piston type: stainless steel.
- Nominal rotor width 1.25 inch; compatible width range 1.10–1.28 inch. Rotor diameter specification: 12.19–13.38 inches.
- Black Powder Coat finish on a forged aluminum body.
- Piston dust boots: no.
- Compatible pad profile 6617; confirm thickness and compound for the installation.
- Caliper component weight: approximately 8.9 lb.
- Component: one individual hydraulic brake caliper. Select the mating rotor, pads, mounting hardware and line connection to suit the complete brake assembly.
Fitment & Compatibility
For Ford Bronco 2021–2024, verify the 2.3L vacuum-booster equipment and exclude e-booster models. Ranger 2019–2022 applications also require the correct full installation package, with wheel clearance checked against the manufacturer's drawing.
