Product details

With 6 pistons and 1.75/1.62/1.62-inch bore dimensions, the black Wilwood Aero6 left brake caliper must be matched to the brake system rather than selected by finish alone. Its 1.25-inch rotor-width specification is separate from rotor diameter. Wilwood Engineering, founded in 1977 by Bill Wood, is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc braking equipment for motorsport, street-performance and specialized use. Calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines form a range whose individual components must be matched to one another. Aero6 is a forged six-piston hydraulic caliper with internal fluid passages. Differential piston bores, radial bracket spacing and rotor dimensions determine the assembly. Select the pad compound separately for the operating temperature and use of the complete brake system.

Fitment & Compatibility

Compare the caliper drawing with your radial bracket before ordering. The 7.09-inch mounting centers and 1.75/1.62/1.62-inch bores must suit the installed rotor offset and hydraulic system. Use the left-hand caliper and keep the bleed arrangement in the specified orientation. A suitable pad sweep and clearance inside the wheel must be verified independently of rotor width.
