Product details

The black Wilwood FNSL4R is an individual brake caliper. It combines a 5.98-inch attachment span with 1.38/1.38-inch piston bores; confirm the rotor centerline and 0.95-inch width configuration before installation. Calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines are among the disc brake components designed and manufactured by Wilwood Engineering. Bill Wood founded the company in 1977; it is based in Camarillo, California. The range serves motorsport, street-performance and specialized systems, with component selection determined by the full brake arrangement. The Forged Narrow Superlite 4R is a four-piston radial caliper using the 7416 pad outline. Its nominal 0.95-inch-wide rotor configuration must be matched to the mounting height and hydraulic balance of the installation. Wheel clearance is determined by the entire caliper-and-bracket envelope.

Fitment & Compatibility

Check bracket location and rotor sweep using the installation drawing; 5.98-inch radial mounting alone does not establish a vehicle fit. Axle placement is determined by the engineered brake package, not by a generic caliper designation. Use the 1.38/1.38-inch piston-bore specification when reviewing hydraulic balance, and verify hose routing and wheel clearance.
