Product details

With 2 pistons and 1.62-inch bore dimensions, the anodized Wilwood DPS-VW brake caliper for Volkswagen must be matched to the brake system rather than selected by finish alone. Its 0.38-inch rotor-width specification is separate from rotor diameter. Founded by Bill Wood in 1977, Wilwood Engineering is based in Camarillo, California. It designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Components must be selected to suit the complete brake system. DynaPro Single-VW is an opposed two-piston billet caliper for selected classic Volkswagen disc-brake arrangements. Two 1.62-inch stainless pistons and a 2.22-inch lug spacing identify the configuration. Verify the installed brake conversion; a Volkswagen badge alone does not establish fitment.

Fitment & Compatibility

For selected classic air-cooled Volkswagen disc-brake arrangements using the 2.22-inch lug mount. Compare the actual bracket, rotor width and hydraulic fitting. A specific Volkswagen model or year is not established here, and no direct axle position is assigned without checking the installed conversion.
