Wilwood Dynapro Dust Seal Brake Caliper with 1.38-Inch Pistons, Type III Anodized Radial Body

The dust-sealed Dynapro combines four equal 1.38-inch stainless pistons with a forged, Type III anodized body. Its 3.00-square-inch hydraulic area and nominal 1.00-inch rotor-width channel identify this configuration; the 5.98-inch radial mount does not make it interchangeable with every other Dynapro. Piston dust wipers are part of the assembly, while bracket position still controls alignment over the rotor. Wilwood Engineering’s disc brake range includes calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines. Bill Wood founded the company in 1977 in California; it is based in Camarillo and serves motorsport, street-performance and specialized brake applications.

This four-piston radial Dynapro includes piston dust wipers. The radial mounting centers are common to several rotor-width and radius versions, so bracket height, pad sweep and actual rotor dimensions must all be compared.

Fitment & Compatibility

For this caliper, compare the measured rotor width with the permitted 0.94–1.04-inch range and check its diameter against the 10.75–12.19-inch specification. The bracket must place the 5.98-inch radial mount at the correct height and center the pad over the friction track. Confirm clearance for the 1/8-27 NPT hose fitting and verify that the 3.00-square-inch piston area matches the intended hydraulic balance.
