Product details

This Wilwood TX6R is a right-hand 6-piston brake caliper with a Type III anodized finish for a nominally 1.38-inch-wide rotor. Its 9.63-inch radial mounting centers and 1.62/1.38/1.38-inch piston bores must match the brake assembly. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. The company makes disc brake systems and components, including calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications.

Fitment & Compatibility

For a replacement, compare the entire caliper specification rather than the finish or logo. On an adapted system, establish rotor alignment and piston-area requirements before choosing the mounting bracket.

This listing covers one caliper. Match the brake pads, rotor, hose and mounting arrangement to the complete brake system.

The TX6R is a six-piston radial-mount caliper developed for heavy truck, SUV and specialized severe-duty brake systems. Type 10120 pads provide its large friction package; installation still requires a matching rotor, bracket and hydraulic design.

Ask PMB Performance for help comparing this caliper with your existing assembly. Our over 20 years of experience are most useful when you provide rotor size, mounting details and the current piston configuration.
