Product details
The Wilwood Forged Narrow Superlite 6R shown here is specified for 1.10-inch rotor width, 5.98-inch radial mounting and 1.75/1.25/1.25-inch piston bores. This left-hand black 6-piston component is selected by brake-system geometry rather than vehicle year alone. Founded in 1977 by Bill Wood, Camarillo, California-based Wilwood Engineering manufactures disc brake components for motorsport, street-performance and specialized uses. Its range covers calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines.
The six-piston narrow Superlite has differential bores, radial mounting and a removable center bridge. Type 7416 pads fit the friction cavity, while each rotor-width and piston-area combination must be matched to the complete brake system.
