Product details

The Wilwood Forged Narrow Superlite 4R shown here is specified for 1.10-inch rotor width, 5.98-inch radial mounting and 1.38-inch piston bores. This red 4-piston component is selected by brake-system geometry rather than vehicle year alone. Founded in 1977 by Bill Wood, Camarillo, California-based Wilwood Engineering manufactures disc brake components for motorsport, street-performance and specialized uses. Its range covers calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines.

The narrow Superlite 4R has four pistons, radial attachment and removable center bridge access to type 7416 pads. Check the specific rotor-width version before ordering another caliper from the same family.

Compare the installed rotor’s nominal width with this exact caliper version. Before assembly, verify pad sweep, caliper-to-wheel clearance and the hose fitting’s thread and sealing method.

This listing covers one caliper. Match the brake pads, rotor, hose and mounting arrangement to the complete brake system.
