Product details
Thermlock pistons distinguish this Type III anodized Wilwood Forged Dynapro 6A from its conventional stainless-piston variants. The left-hand six-piston configuration uses 1.62/1.38/1.38-inch bores, with a nominal 0.81-inch rotor-width capacity and 5.25-inch lug mounting. Select this particular bore and piston construction as part of the complete hydraulic brake specification. Bill Wood founded Wilwood Engineering in 1977. Based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood designs and manufactures disc brake systems and parts for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications, from calipers and rotors to master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines.
The DP6A combines a six-piston differential-bore arrangement with a reinforced bridge and 5.25-inch lug mounting. Check piston area as well as rotor width when replacing an earlier Dynapro or Dynalite caliper.

Fitment & Compatibility
Allow for Wilwood’s specified 5.06-square-inch piston area when checking pedal displacement and brake balance. The rotor needs a 10.00–13.00-inch diameter and 0.75–0.83-inch width, with type 6712 pads positioned at the correct radius. Verify left-hand mounting, the 2.03-inch bracket height and clearance for the inlet fitting before final assembly.
This listing covers one caliper. Match the brake pads, rotor, hose and mounting arrangement to the complete brake system.
