Product details

A forged aluminum body and four 1.12-inch stainless pistons make up this red Wilwood AERO4 hydraulic brake caliper. It uses 7.09-inch radial mounting centers and a nominal 0.81-inch rotor-width specification. The matching bracket must position the pads correctly over the rotor. Bill Wood founded Wilwood Engineering in 1977. Based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood designs and manufactures disc brake systems and parts for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications, from calipers and rotors to master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines.

AERO4 uses four pistons in a radial-mount body with internal fluid ports. The caliper must be positioned for full pad contact and adequate wheel clearance; rotor diameter alone cannot establish either condition.

Fitment & Compatibility

Check the caliper-to-bracket attachment and rotor offset before ordering. Changing piston diameter changes hydraulic requirements even when a different caliper shares the same bolt spacing.

This listing covers one caliper. Match the brake pads, rotor, hose and mounting arrangement to the complete brake system.
