Product details
Restore or update the original front caliper arrangement on a 1997–2004 Corvette C5 or 2005–2013 base C6 with this red Wilwood SLC56. The four-piston caliper is designed around the factory 12.80-inch-diameter front rotor package, with 1.62-inch stainless piston bores and stock-location mounting. Other C6 brake packages require a separate fitment check. Bill Wood founded Wilwood Engineering in 1977. Based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood designs and manufactures disc brake systems and parts for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications, from calipers and rotors to master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines.
The fixed four-piston SLC56 replaces the front floating caliper on Corvette C5 models and base C6 models with the original 12.80-inch rotor package. It bolts to the Corvette spindle without a separate adapter and accepts the original banjo-style hose connection.
