Product details

The 9.63-inch radial pattern identifies the attachment layout of this Wilwood TX6R. This right-hand black caliper has 6 pistons, 1.75/1.62/1.62-inch bores and a 1.38-inch nominal rotor-width specification. Wilwood Engineering’s disc brake range includes calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines. Bill Wood founded the company in 1977 in California; it is based in Camarillo and serves motorsport, street-performance and specialized brake applications.

The TX6R is a six-piston radial-mount caliper developed for heavy truck, SUV and specialized severe-duty brake systems. Type 10120 pads provide its large friction package; installation still requires a matching rotor, bracket and hydraulic design.

Fitment & Compatibility

The bracket must center the caliper over the rotor and locate the friction material at the correct radius. Check hose routing and bleed orientation through the full suspension and steering movement.

This listing covers one caliper. Match the brake pads, rotor, hose and mounting arrangement to the complete brake system.

PMB Performance has worked with parts and brake fitment for over 20 years. Supply the installed caliper identity and the rotor and bracket measurements for a practical compatibility check.
