Product details
The Wilwood TX6R shown here is specified for 1.38-inch rotor width, 9.63-inch radial mounting and 1.75/1.62/1.62-inch piston bores. This right-hand Type III anodized 6-piston component is selected by brake-system geometry rather than vehicle year alone. Founded in 1977 by Bill Wood, Camarillo, California-based Wilwood Engineering manufactures disc brake components for motorsport, street-performance and specialized uses. Its range covers calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines.

Fitment & Compatibility
Compare the installed rotor’s nominal width with this exact caliper version. Before assembly, verify pad sweep, caliper-to-wheel clearance and the hose fitting’s thread and sealing method.
This listing covers one caliper. Match the brake pads, rotor, hose and mounting arrangement to the complete brake system.
The TX6R is a six-piston radial-mount caliper developed for heavy truck, SUV and specialized severe-duty brake systems. Type 10120 pads provide its large friction package; installation still requires a matching rotor, bracket and hydraulic design.
