Product details

The Wilwood Forged Dynapro 6A shown here is specified for 1.10-inch rotor width, 5.25-inch lug mounting and 1.62/1.12/1.12-inch piston bores. This left-hand red 6-piston component is selected by brake-system geometry rather than vehicle year alone. Founded in 1977 by Bill Wood, Camarillo, California-based Wilwood Engineering manufactures disc brake components for motorsport, street-performance and specialized uses. Its range covers calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines.

The DP6A combines a six-piston differential-bore arrangement with a reinforced bridge and 5.25-inch lug mounting. Check piston area as well as rotor width when replacing an earlier Dynapro or Dynalite caliper.

Fitment & Compatibility

Compare the installed rotor’s nominal width with this exact caliper version. Before assembly, verify pad sweep, caliper-to-wheel clearance and the hose fitting’s thread and sealing method.

This listing covers one caliper. Match the brake pads, rotor, hose and mounting arrangement to the complete brake system.

With over 20 years of experience, PMB Performance can help compare piston configuration and mounting geometry. Share the existing brake package and measured rotor dimensions before ordering.
