Product details
Wilwood’s black right DP6A is the wide rotor-body configuration with a nominal 1.10-inch width. Six stainless pistons use 1.62/1.38/1.38-inch bores in the reinforced forged housing, with type 6712 pads. Bill Wood founded Wilwood Engineering in 1977, and the company is based in Camarillo, California. It designs and manufactures disc brake systems and a component range of calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines serving motorsport, street-performance and specialized installations.

- Rotor compatibility: nominal width 1.10 inch; diameter 10.00–13.00 inches. Specified rotor-width limits: 1.04–1.13 inch.
- Pistons: 6 stainless steel; bore specification: 1.62/1.38/1.38 inches. Effective piston area: 5.06 sq in.
- Body: forged aluminum; finish: Black powder coat.
- Compatible brake pad shape: 6712; choose the required compound for the brake system.
- Hydraulic inlet thread: 1/8-27 NPT. Use a fitting with the correct thread and sealing seat.
Fitment & Compatibility
Compare rotor thickness directly with the 1.04–1.13-inch clearance range. Verify 5.25-inch lug centers and the 2.03-inch mounting height, then confirm the caliper’s piston area against the planned hydraulic system.
