Product details
This black left Forged Dynapro 6A has six stainless pistons with a 1.62/1.38/1.38-inch bore arrangement. The caliper uses type 6712 pads and a nominal 0.81-inch rotor-width body rather than the wider DP6A option. Founded in 1977 by Bill Wood, Camarillo, California-based Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc braking systems. Its motorsport, street-performance and specialized range covers calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, selected as parts of a complete system.
Technical Details
- Manufacturer part number: 120-13429-BK. Component: Forged Dynapro 6A Lug Mount caliper.
- Supply: one brake caliper, not a complete axle brake kit. Match the mating rotor, pads, bracket and connection hardware to the installation.
- Hydraulic inlet thread: 1/8-27 NPT. Use a fitting with the correct thread and sealing seat.
- 5.25-inch lug mounting pattern, left hand; mounting height 2.03 inches and hole size 0.39 inch.
- Black powder coat finish on a forged aluminum caliper body.
- Caliper weight: approximately 5.1 lb.
- Brake pad profile 6712; select friction material for the actual operating conditions.
- 6 stainless steel pistons with 1.62/1.38/1.38-inch bore groups. The specified effective area is 5.06 sq in.
- Piston dust boots: not fitted.
- The rotor channel is specified for 0.81-inch nominal width. Rotor outside diameter: 10.00 to 13.00 inches. Specified rotor-width limits: 0.75–0.83 inch.
Fitment & Compatibility
Compare the actual rotor width and hydraulic piston area with the installed brake system. A bracket matching 5.25-inch lug centers must also establish the correct 2.03-inch mounting height and rotor centerline.
