Product details
This red right-hand Forged Dynapro 6A uses six differential-bore stainless pistons. The 1.62/1.38/1.38-inch combination is housed in a reinforced aluminum forging arranged for a nominally 0.81-inch-wide rotor. For motorsport, street-performance and specialized braking applications, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines. The disc brake company was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California.
Technical Details
- Manufacturer part number: 120-13428-RD. Component: Forged Dynapro 6A Lug Mount caliper.
- Supply: one brake caliper, not a complete axle brake kit. Match the mating rotor, pads, bracket and connection hardware to the installation.
- Piston dust boots: not fitted.
- Nominal rotor width 0.81 inch; compatible outside diameter from 10.00 through 13.00 inches. Specified rotor-width limits: 0.75–0.83 inch.
- Hydraulic inlet thread: 1/8-27 NPT. Use a fitting with the correct thread and sealing seat.
- Pad fit is type 6712. Match the pad dimensions and compound to the rotor and intended braking conditions.
- Caliper weight: approximately 5.1 lb.
- Construction and surface: forged aluminum housing finished in Red powder coat.
- Bracket interface: 5.25-inch lug centers with 0.39-inch holes. Specified mount height: 2.03 inches; orientation: right hand.
- Bore configuration 1.62/1.38/1.38 inches across 6 pistons; piston material: stainless steel. Hydraulic effective area: 5.06 square inches.
Fitment & Compatibility
Verify that the rotor diameter falls between 10.00 and 13.00 inches and that the 6712 pads sit fully on its friction surface. Compare 5.25-inch mounting centers and the caliper’s radial height with the bracket drawing.
