Wilwood Black Right Forged Dynapro 6A Caliper, Six Pistons / 0.81-Inch Rotor Width

Wilwood’s black right DP6A is a six-piston lug-mount caliper with 1.62/1.38/1.38-inch stainless bores. Its reinforced forged body accepts the 6712 friction format and transfers brake fluid internally. Wilwood Engineering is a Camarillo, California-based designer and manufacturer of disc brake systems, founded by Bill Wood in 1977. Calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines form its range for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications.

Technical Details

• Manufacturer part number: 120-13428-BK. Component: Forged Dynapro 6A Lug Mount caliper.
• Supply: one brake caliper, not a complete axle brake kit. Match the mating rotor, pads, bracket and connection hardware to the installation.
• Hydraulic inlet thread: 1/8-27 NPT. Use a fitting with the correct thread and sealing seat.
• 5.25-inch lug mounting pattern, right hand; mounting height 2.03 inches and hole size 0.39 inch.
• Caliper weight: approximately 5.1 lb.
• The rotor channel is specified for 0.81-inch nominal width. Rotor outside diameter: 10.00 to 13.00 inches. Specified rotor-width limits: 0.75–0.83 inch.
• 6 stainless steel pistons with 1.62/1.38/1.38-inch bore groups. The specified effective area is 5.06 sq in.
• Piston dust boots: not fitted.
• Black powder coat finish on a forged aluminum caliper body.
• Brake pad profile 6712; select friction material for the actual operating conditions.

Fitment & Compatibility

Match the 0.81-inch nominal rotor-width version and the 5.25-inch lug pattern. Check rotor centering, the complete wheel profile and the intended brake balance rather than assuming every black Dynapro has the same dimensions.
