Product details

This Type III anodized Wilwood AERO4 combines four equal 1.12-inch stainless pistons with a forged radial-mount body. Its 6617 pad cavity and 7.09-inch mounting centers identify the principal friction and attachment layout. Bill Wood established Wilwood Engineering in 1977. Based in Camarillo, California, the company designs and manufactures disc brake systems, from calipers and brake rotors to master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance and specialized use.

Technical Details

  • Manufacturer part number: 120-13339. Component: Aero4 Radial Mount caliper.
  • Supply: one brake caliper, not a complete axle brake kit. Match the mating rotor, pads, bracket and connection hardware to the installation.
  • Pad fit is type 6617. Match the pad dimensions and compound to the rotor and intended braking conditions.
  • Piston dust boots: not fitted.
  • Caliper weight: approximately 6.9 lb.
  • Bracket interface: 7.09-inch radial centers with 0.45-inch holes. Specified mount height: 2.09 inches; orientation: universal.
  • Hydraulic inlet thread: 1/8-27 NPT. Use a fitting with the correct thread and sealing seat.
  • Nominal rotor width 1.25 inch; compatible outside diameter from 12.19 through 15.00 inches. Confirm the usable minimum and maximum rotor width before installation.
  • Construction and surface: forged aluminum housing finished in Type III anodize.
  • Bore configuration 1.12 inches across 4 pistons; piston material: stainless steel. Hydraulic effective area: 1.98 square inches.

Fitment & Compatibility

Have the rotor-width specification confirmed before ordering this particular configuration. Provide the intended rotor dimensions and bracket drawing so caliper clearance can be established, including the 2.09-inch mounting height and wheel envelope.

With 20+ years of experience, PMB Performance can help compare the actual brake hardware. Supply the caliper number, rotor dimensions and mounting measurements when asking about compatibility.
