Product details

This black AERO4 has a symmetric four-piston layout with 1.12-inch stainless bores. It is a universal-side radial component for a 1.10-inch nominal rotor width, with a forged aluminum body and internal fluid ports. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. It designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications.

Technical Details

  • Manufacturer part number: 120-13338-BK. Component: Aero4 Radial Mount caliper.
  • Supply: one brake caliper, not a complete axle brake kit. Match the mating rotor, pads, bracket and connection hardware to the installation.
  • Hydraulic inlet thread: 1/8-27 NPT. Use a fitting with the correct thread and sealing seat.
  • Pistons: 4 stainless steel; bore specification: 1.12 inches. Effective piston area: 1.98 sq in.
  • Mounting: radial, 7.09-inch centers; universal orientation. Mount holes: 0.45 inch; height: 2.09 inches.
  • Compatible brake pad shape: 6617; choose the required compound for the brake system.
  • Caliper weight: approximately 6.9 lb.
  • Piston dust boots: not fitted.
  • Body: forged aluminum; finish: Black powder coat.
  • Rotor compatibility: nominal width 1.10 inch; diameter 12.19–15.00 inches. Specified rotor-width limits: 1.00–1.10 inch.

Fitment & Compatibility

Compare its piston area with the master-cylinder and brake-bias specification. Confirm the rotor width, 2.09-inch mounting height and 6617 pad sweep before using a 7.09-inch radial bracket.
