Product details

This right AERO6/ST uses Thermlock pistons in a six-piston 1.62/1.12/1.12-inch arrangement. Insulation at the pistons limits heat flow from the pads, while the hard-anodized forged body uses radial attachment and internal fluid passages. Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Bill Wood founded the company in 1977; it is based in Camarillo, California, and its component range includes calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines.

Technical Details

  • Manufacturer part number: 120-13299. Component: Aero6 Radial Mount caliper.
  • Supply: one brake caliper, not a complete axle brake kit. Match the mating rotor, pads, bracket and connection hardware to the installation.
  • Hydraulic inlet thread: 1/8-27 NPT. Use a fitting with the correct thread and sealing seat.
  • Type III anodize finish on a forged aluminum caliper body.
  • The rotor channel is specified for 1.25-inch nominal width. Rotor outside diameter: 12.19 to 15.00 inches. Specified rotor-width limits: 1.10–1.28 inch.
  • 6 Thermlock pistons with 1.62/1.12/1.12-inch bore groups. The specified effective area is 4.04 sq in.
  • 7.09-inch radial mounting pattern, right hand; mounting height 2.09 inches and hole size 0.45 inch.
  • Piston dust boots: not fitted.
  • Caliper weight: approximately 7.1 lb.
  • Brake pad profile 6620; select friction material for the actual operating conditions.

Fitment & Compatibility

Select friction material that fits the specified 6620 cavity and intended service temperatures. Check the 1.25-inch nominal rotor width, 7.09-inch radial centers and the master-cylinder volume required for this bore configuration.
