Product details

The left AERO4/ST combines four differential 1.88/1.62-inch bores with Thermlock insulating pistons. It uses a hard-anodized forged body, internal fluid transfer and the 6620 pad cavity. With a range spanning calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures complete disc braking systems and their components. Bill Wood founded the Camarillo, California-based company in 1977 for a market now covering motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications.

Technical Details

  • Manufacturer part number: 120-13298. Component: Aero4 Radial Mount caliper.
  • Supply: one brake caliper, not a complete axle brake kit. Match the mating rotor, pads, bracket and connection hardware to the installation.
  • Piston dust boots: not fitted.
  • Mounting: radial, 7.09-inch centers; left hand orientation. Mount holes: 0.45 inch; height: 2.09 inches.
  • Compatible brake pad shape: 6620; choose the required compound for the brake system.
  • Body: forged aluminum; finish: Type III anodize.
  • Caliper weight: approximately 7.1 lb.
  • Pistons: 4 Thermlock; bore specification: 1.88/1.62 inches. Effective piston area: 4.84 sq in.
  • Rotor compatibility: nominal width 1.25 inch; diameter 12.19–15.00 inches. Specified rotor-width limits: 1.10–1.28 inch.
  • Hydraulic inlet thread: 1/8-27 NPT. Use a fitting with the correct thread and sealing seat.

Fitment & Compatibility

Check the left-side rotor direction and the bracket’s 2.09-inch mount-height geometry. Verify the full 1.10–1.28-inch rotor-width range and pad dimensions; a stainless-piston AERO4 with different friction capacity is not automatically equivalent.
