Product details
The red left AERO6 is a six-piston radial caliper with 1.75/1.38/1.38-inch bores. A forged aluminum body, stainless pistons and internal fluid ports form the component for a 1.25-inch nominal rotor-width package. Bill Wood established Wilwood Engineering in 1977. Based in Camarillo, California, the company designs and manufactures disc brake systems, from calipers and brake rotors to master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance and specialized use.
Technical Details
- Manufacturer part number: 120-13294-RD. Component: Aero6 Radial Mount caliper.
- Supply: one brake caliper, not a complete axle brake kit. Match the mating rotor, pads, bracket and connection hardware to the installation.
- Bore configuration 1.75/1.38/1.38 inches across 6 pistons; piston material: stainless steel. Hydraulic effective area: 5.40 square inches.
- Construction and surface: forged aluminum housing finished in Red powder coat.
- Pad fit is type 6617. Match the pad dimensions and compound to the rotor and intended braking conditions.
- Bracket interface: 7.09-inch radial centers with 0.45-inch holes. Specified mount height: 2.09 inches; orientation: left hand.
- Nominal rotor width 1.25 inch; compatible outside diameter from 12.19 through 15.00 inches. Specified rotor-width limits: 1.10–1.28 inch.
- Caliper weight: approximately 6.8 lb.
- Piston dust boots: not fitted.
- Hydraulic inlet thread: 1/8-27 NPT. Use a fitting with the correct thread and sealing seat.
Fitment & Compatibility
Confirm the left caliper’s bore layout against the opposite wheel and the intended hydraulic design. Verify 2.09-inch mount height and 6617 pad sweep, with clearance between the caliper, rotor hat and wheel.
With 20+ years of experience, PMB Performance can help compare the actual brake hardware. Supply the caliper number, rotor dimensions and mounting measurements when asking about compatibility.
