Product details
This red right-hand AERO6 uses the larger 1.75/1.38/1.38-inch six-piston combination. Its forged aluminum radial body and 6617 pad cavity are built for brake assemblies using the specified rotor-width and hydraulic configuration. For motorsport, street-performance and specialized braking applications, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines. The disc brake company was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California.
Technical Details
- Manufacturer part number: 120-13293-RD. Component: Aero6 Radial Mount caliper.
- Supply: one brake caliper, not a complete axle brake kit. Match the mating rotor, pads, bracket and connection hardware to the installation.
- Pad fit is type 6617. Match the pad dimensions and compound to the rotor and intended braking conditions.
- Hydraulic inlet thread: 1/8-27 NPT. Use a fitting with the correct thread and sealing seat.
- Piston dust boots: not fitted.
- Caliper weight: approximately 6.8 lb.
- Construction and surface: forged aluminum housing finished in Red powder coat.
- Bore configuration 1.75/1.38/1.38 inches across 6 pistons; piston material: stainless steel. Hydraulic effective area: 5.40 square inches.
- Nominal rotor width 1.25 inch; compatible outside diameter from 12.19 through 15.00 inches. Specified rotor-width limits: 1.10–1.28 inch.
- Bracket interface: 7.09-inch radial centers with 0.45-inch holes. Specified mount height: 2.09 inches; orientation: right hand.
Fitment & Compatibility
Check both piston volume and rotor alignment before substituting another AERO6. Verify 7.09-inch radial centers, the 12.19–15.00-inch rotor-diameter range and the wheel’s clearance around the outside of the caliper.
